Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira was born on May 26, 1978, in Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. She is a well-known actress by her roles in Woman on Top (2000) Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed as a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime by March 2020. The analyst she is working with currently managing the Assassination Witness project and one of the core members of the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement group. She focuses her research on the criminal economics, assassinations and disappearances. Her research interests focus on the effects of organised crime on human and humanitarian rights, as well as the impact of the laws and policies. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) and holds an LL.M. She holds obtained an LL.M. degree with a concentration in Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula has a bachelor degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is a licensed lawyer, having practised at a law firm focusing on litigating in the public sector for more than four years. Other experiences include working with roles in non-governmental organizations with their headquarters in Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
