She was born Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on July 9 1983. She began her career as a real estate agent after she graduated from high school. That's how she met her partner, Tarek El Moussa. The couple had a very successful business until 2008 when real estate investors or house flippers as well as others went bankrupt. Due to the crash Tarek and Christina El Moussa nearly lost all their assets. They went from living in the cost of a house that was $6,000 per month to a house that cost $700 per month. In the meantime, their business and the overall economy recovered. HGTV & Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted an acquaintance to create the audition tapes for HGTV that featured Christina flipping the property over starting from scratch. Pie Town Productions executives received the tape. The execs were infatuated with Christina and Tarek's love story. In 2012, the couple signed a contract with HGTV. In April of 2013, "Flip of Flop" premiered. The show ran 92 episodes between 2013 until the year 2017. The show's characters, Christina and Tarek would acquire properties, which are typically middle-income houses situated in Orange County, and would later spend a few months making improvements so that they could flip the property in order to earn a profit. Tarek concentrates on removal and remodeling, and Christina is in charge of design. She makes sure all projects are completed in time.
